The ladies from NORML Women’s Alliance and Pot Couture came together in the name of weed, taking these beautiful photos to lend faces to the movement to end marijuana prohibition. The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) was established in 1970 and is now the most powerful grassroots organization advocating pro-pot legislation. In January 2010 NORML Women's Alliance was launched:
"The NORML Women's Alliance will bring a contemporary approach to the public policy debate, and will proudly represent the interests of modern, mainstream women who believe that the negative consequences of marijuana prohibition far outweigh any repercussions from marijuana consumption itself."
I mention Pot Couture a lot on this blog, but just to cover our bases it is the first magazine-style site designed for professional, stylish women who smoke. I found Pot Couture around the same time I began this blog, and it has been a go-to ever since. It's run by two women, Margot + Pepper, who have a way of giving everything a sophisticated, Mary Jane twist. You can see more fun and stunning backstage photos at Pot Couture.
