Weed Love

Am I only seeing it because it's four days away from Valentine's Day? I don't think so; the heart is clearly there. The bud is the classic Platinum Bubba, and if it weren't exciting enough to have a new strain on hand, I was also greeted with some love. The heart is even a little lopsided, how cute.

Festive

Sorry for the verbally lackluster posts lately. I haven't been feeling the best, so thoughts on weed have not been prominent in my mind. Here is another photo that I took of a new strain, Big Bud. It is weirdly similar in both color and texture to the bag I happened to be using that day, some of the nuggets are even hard to see. The smell of Big Bud is probably the best I've ever encountered, it is lovely. Gets me in the mood for the Holidays... <3

Practical

A new strain that I got, Big Buds. These photos were taken at around 8am, which I took note of because I love the lighting. It's true what Photography for Dummies says, early mornings and cloudy days make for the most beautiful photos. I hope everyone had a cozy Thanksgiving!

I picked up a new strain today, here is a tiny nugget of it. Skywalker is known to be a pretty strong indica, I've heard of it but never tried it. Review coming soon. Only nice words strung together come to mind.

I love memory boxes. And by a memory box, I mean a cute box from Target for around $5, in which I store every letter, note, card, and post-it I've ever received. There are some photos in there too. I seriously keep everything, just to warn anyone who doesn't like leaving paper trails. Anyways, it's a blast every time I look through it. Today I thought the box itself would make a very pretty backdrop. This new strain I got is a classic, J1 (Jack Herer mixed with Haze). Review coming soon!

Snapshots with Winnie

Believe it or not, I was not remotely high when I took these photos. I promise. I came across this book at a library book sale for only $1. It is pure vintage Winnie-the-Pooh, and as I was looking through it I couldn't resist thinking that the pages would make fantastic backdrops for little nuggets of weed. 15 minutes later and this was the result. They are at least kind of cute, right? I think it makes the forest come ALIVE! The book is The House at Pooh Corner by of course A.A. Milne.

Oh, and I can't forget to mention that the photos feature Chem Valley Kush. :)

I keep on intending to post these and then I forget. I have a Canon S90, which is supposed to the best wannabe-DSLR camera. It probably is fantastic, but I am not making use of its potential. I have to work on my relationship with my camera.

I'm still confident in my decision to keep this anonymous. After the blog was stripped of my personal details, I surprised myself with how relieved I felt. Though frankly, I hate the fact that I feel sheepish and hesitant about blogging on weed on a personal level. But unfortunately, the culture inevitably influences our actions. Or at least mine. Ew, I sound like a pseudo-intellectual, I'll stop. Anyways, hopefully in the not-too-distant future things will begin to turn around (understatement) - California Proposition 19 in November offers one glimmer of hope.

In other news, I went to a new club today and picked up a strain, Delta Nine. The smell is out of this world, and I've only tried it once, but thus far it is hands down my favorite strain ever. 4 nugs of Peanut Butter Goo

today i picked up a new Indica strain called Peanut Butter Goo. when i saw the name i was already sold. since college, the necessity of meals requiring zero kitchen skills (and zero kitchen equipment) has made peanut butter a staple in my diet. oddly enough, the dependency has turned into love. before i could even ask to take a look at the strain, the budtender told me it was his favorite and that i had to try it.

i've only had a couple of very small hits of Peanut Butter Goo thus far, so a review will come later. but i wanted to share my first photo of it - oh yeah, it SMELLS like peanut butter! almost buttery.
